Welcome to the Sunny Sands House, Joshua Tree Getaway! Sunny Sands House is a newly renovated 2 bedroom house set in the central area of Joshua Tree with close proximity to town and Joshua Tree National park. Unwind at this peaceful house that sleeps 4, prepare meals in the brand new kitchen, or catch some z’s stargazing on the hammocks outside with a gas firepit. This southwestern bohemian styled house is brand new and situated in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood with a spacious backyard and is a perfect place for a peaceful trip to Joshua Tree.

The space

This is a two bedroom house with one full bathroom and an Air Conditioning and Heat. Both bedrooms have a queen bed with brand new mattresses. The house sleeps 4 people, but you could add a 5th person on the couch. The house is a short distance to Joshua Tree downtown and about 10 minutes to the entrance of Joshua Tree National park.

WiFi


The sunny Sands house has High speed WiFi Internet with coverage inside the house, front yard and partially by the firepit in the backyard.
There is 55″ Smart Roku TV in the living room with all possible streaming services and also connected to our Plex media server where you can pick from dozens of movies.  

Kitchen

The kitchen has brand new appliances, full size fridge, white cabinets, granite countertops, Kuerig machine, coffee grinder plus a standard coffee maker, tea kettle, Ninja blender, and a crock pot. There are plenty of glasses, bowels, plates and utensils as well as spices, sugar, oils etc. Pretty much the kitchen is stocked up with everything you may possibly need on your trip.

Backyard

The outside yard is completely fenced in and has 4 hanging hammocks with a gas firepit. Also there is a picnic table on the front patio with a propane barbecue grill for your evening enjoyment.
In the back yard there is a nice firepit area with benches, small table and four chairs and a swing. The house is situated on five acres, making this house private and peaceful.

Other things to note

We are pet friendly and allow cats and dogs. We charge a $30 pet fee per animal on your day of check in. Please keep your pets off the couch and beds

Pet rules:
Please make sure your dog stays off the couch and beds. Pick up all the spilled dog food from the floor as soon as possible to prevent ants issue in the house. make sure you pick up all the doggie poo from the yard before you leave.

Stayed about a week We had a wonderful stay at Jan and Ludmila’s place in Joshua Tree. The area is beautiful and peaceful. The house itself has everything you need and is so clean and comfortable. We would love to return one day.

Jan is from Czech Republic and Ludmila is from Venzuela. We like living in the Joshua Tree and enjoy sharing this experience with others. We love our neighborhood and wish to help travelers just like ourselves to explore this quirky desert community in Southern California that has garnered attention as a relaxing destination because of its beautiful desert landscape and off-grid bohemian vibes. Jan works in Internet / network business and Ludmila is a chef. We love going to Joshua Tree National Park and hike through the serene and beautiful landscapes and also do little bouldering. We like watching stars and metorite trails on quiet summer nights with a glass of wine, or roast sausages in the fire pit. We enjoy the rustic and laid back lifestyle of joshua Tree and its community.
