Sunny Sands House is a newly renovated 2 bedroom house set in the central area of Joshua Tree with close proximity to town and a rural landscape. Unwind at this peaceful house that sleeps 4, prepare meals in the brand new kitchen, or catch some z’s stargazing on the hammocks outside with a gas firepit. This southwestern bohemian styled house is brand new and situated in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood with a spacious backyard and the perfect place for a peaceful trip to Joshua Tree.

The space

Amenities:

The kitchen has brand new appliances, white cabinets, granite countertops, Kuerig machine, tea kettle and a small table with chairs.

One bedroom has a queen bed and the second bedroom has two twin beds. The house sleeps 4 people, but you could add a 5th person on the couch.

The outside yard is completely fenced in and has 4 hanging hammocks with a gas firepit. The house is situated on a large lot, making this house private and peaceful.

Other things to note

We are pet friendly and allow cats and dogs. We charge a $30 pet fee per animal on your day of check in. Disclaimer*The backyard is all sand/dirt and the prior owner of the property was very messy and had a lot of trash so occasionally rocks/nails/broken pieces of trash will come up through the sand from the weathering — we have raked the yard many times to get up as much as possible and it is cleaned up but we cannot guarantee that there still isn’t trash/nails buried in the dirt. We have a security camera on the exterior of the house showing the back yard as well as a ring doorbell.

Great little house, just perfect for the four of us. It has everything you may need, fast internet, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and very nice backyard. The place is close to Joshua Tree town and the National park.

Jan is from Czech Republic and Ludmila is from Venzuela. We like living in the Joshua Tree and enjoy sharing this experience with others. We love our neighborhood and wish to help travelers just like ourselves to explore this quirky desert community in Southern California that has garnered attention as a relaxing destination because of its beautiful desert landscape and off-grid bohemian vibes. Jan works in Internet / network business and Ludmila is a chef. We love going to Joshua Tree National Park and hike through the serene and beautiful landscapes and also do little bouldering. We like watching stars and metorite trails on quiet summer nights with a glass of wine, or roast sausages in the fire pit. We enjoy the rustic and laid back lifestyle of joshua Tree and its community.
